Our Gorgeous Country Gite in Rural France
A stay in our gîte is the perfect way to spend time with family and friends. This luxurious self-catering accommodation is private and secluded, with the advantage of advice on your doorstep if you want it. This flexible gîte can be rented with two bedrooms or four, sleeping up to ten. You can also take advantage of some of our dinning options by booking a brunch or dinner during your stay
Features
The Boulangerie is built to the side of the original mill and still retains some of the original features including the large commercial bread oven built in 1880 and the well, still accessible within the main living space. It is a modern conversion with oak beams, large windows, titled floors and log burner. The Gite bedrooms have balconies giving spectacular views of the grounds, luxurious modern bathrooms, and high ceilings. The additional bedrooms are within the mill they can be separated from the house and directly accessed from the gite to provide extra space.

Features

Gite Living Room
This very large open plan space comprises of a kitchen, dining area and living room. It is light and airy, but in winter is heated with the pellet stove and becomes cosy area for enjoying time with the family and friends.
The table seats up to ten people. The Kitchen is well equipped and has and electric induction hob, oven microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The comfortable living room areas has a TV with local stations, UK TV Freesat stations and netflix. WIFI is available throughout the gite and by the pool. There are doors open which onto a grassed area and terrace to the rear overlooking the pool. Here you will find a large dining table and BBQ area. Additional double doors to the front for the gite open onto a covered a terrace with a breakfast table and seating area that gets the morning sun.
Gite Master Bedroom
This suite has a very large bedroom, with a king-size bed positioned to give views across the front garden; and an additional antique Standard Double bed and seating area. There are windows on three sides giving views of the orchard and pool as well as the front garden and valley. The suite has two balconies, one with a seating area under the shade of the roof. The ensuite bathroom has a roll top bath and walk in shower with tiled floor and heated towel rail. This room is heated in winter with warm air from the pellet stove and a large storage radiator.
The Four Bedroom
This bedroom is situated above the ‘four’ or bread oven to the rear of the property and opens onto its own large balcony over the mill stream. There are lovely views to the rear of the property and over the natural pool. The balcony is a perfect place from which to watch the sun set and enjoy a pre dinner drink. This ensuite room has a super-king sized bed that can be made up as a twin or double. In winter it is heated by an electric storage radiator. The ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower and views over the pool, it is heated with an electric towel rail.
Facilities Our gite is set up ready for your stay, with extensive facilities to help you enjoy your time with us. A welcome basket of local produce and our own honey is provided to help you settle in and we are on hand if there is anything you need. You will also find some basic essentials such as olive oil and salt and peper. We provide Eco friendly products for the kitchen and bathrooms to help with our water disposal system. The list of facilities is extensive but only represents some of what is provided and is by no means a full inventory.
